
Optimize your musical education with a doctoral-prepared teacher! Our teachers have the education and experience to help you meet and exceed your musical joy and growth. We are always supportive, friendly and encouraging. Please see tabs for beginning and advanced students.
All students and parents are welcome to contact DMAA if they might be interested in lessons. 30, 45, and 60-minute increments are available. Lessons cover topics in repertoire, ear-training, theory, technique, and music history. All lessons are tailored to fit the goals and abilities of each student and are taught with a warm, supportive approach.
Lesson plans: Each student is given a written plan each week to guide practice. We call this “optimizing the other six days”. Of course, teachers are available seven days a week to answer questions.

Each of three semesters is comprised of fifteen to sixteen lessons with optional weeks available during the summer. Please contact DMAA with more specific questions regarding policies and rates. A minimum of three performance opportunities annually will be available for all students. Students interested in competing have the opportunity to participate in a variety of local, regional, and national competitions. for all students.
